Marching Arts Blue Devils Experience & Student Leadership Workshop

Join us for the 3rd annual Blue Devils Experience, sponsored by Conn Selmer and US Bands! Educators will attend sessions with Blue Devils staff, Randy Greenwell, Richard Saucedo, and Beth Fabrizio. Students will enjoy a leadership workshop with Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser and Taylor Watts. After lunch, all gather for masterclasses and a final ensemble rehearsal led by Richard Saucedo.
Conn Selmer is thrilled to partner with US Bands to provide this experience! Beginning the day at 9AM, students will spend the morning with Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser and Taylor Watts for an inspiring, motivating Student Leadership Workshop. While students are in the workshop, director sessions led by the Blue Devil Teaching Staff - Dr. Chip Crotts, Scott Johnson, and Brian Dinkel - begin at 10:00.
After lunch, students will participate in masterclasses and teaching demonstrations for brass, woodwind, battery, front ensemble, color guard, and drum majors. Meanwhile, directors are welcome to rotate on their own to the sessions most relevant to them. The afternoon will end with a full ensemble performance and Q&A sessions with all clinicians, educators, and students.
